Behavoural change

Behavoural change is all about education and awareness.

Most people are not interested what appliance use what amount of power in their home, however I am.

Having an assesment done, can show you which appliances use the majority of your power.

Consider this:  Since you moved out of home you have being paying power & water bills. Now you have kids; and in this era, everything is run on electricity, so your bills have grown slowly over 20 or 30 years. You would be amazed at the amount of electricity you use without knowing it. Reducing this usage is a dollar saving for you, and reduces power demands on power station.

If a person is willing to exercise some responsiblity to change a habit, they will succeed.

An example: if you want to stop watching 5 hours of TV a night, you would organize other activites to do at night to avoid watching TV. After a period of time this new activity seems normal, like watching TV use to feel normal. This is changing your behavour.

Apply this thinking to using less energy in your home is simple. Within a short time you could be saving energy and dollars around your home and discovering a sense of achievement.
